“In June the Project saw the conclusion of the training phase, wi th meet ing s in Italy, France and Spain, as wel l as a training session, not originally foreseen, in Belgium. The meetings took place in Rome on 4 and 5 June, then in Boulogne-sur-Mer (France) on 11 and 12, Ostend (Belgium) on 19 and 20 and Vigo(Spain) on 24 and 25. The meet ing s involved the Flai working group, a number of experts and representatives from trade unions of the countries involved, and was an opportunity to study further the connect ions between the European dimension and the specific economic, union and legislative needs of the individual geographic areas involved.
